HOW TO INSTALL STONE DRIVEWAY

 

There are two ways to make a stone driveway:

Mudset or Sandset

Four inch or thicker cobble stone is the only stone suitable for a sandset driveway. If you choose any other stone it will need to be mudset. You may even choose to mudset cobble.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:

·         Edges of a concrete slab should be thicker, up to 8”.

·         Sandset cobble should have edging, stone curbing, or concrete curbing to contain stone.

·         Sandset cobble may require future maintenance.
