Quarried in the “Gorge”, Columbia Grey Basalt is widely used in the Northwest because of it’s availability.
It will be 3-5″ thick stone roughly split into random square and rectangular shapes. Typical use is in veneer work, cap stone, stair treads or drystack walls. Tends to be a lighter gray that takes on a pinkish tint when it gets wet.
Material is sold by the ton and is available for pick up or for an additional charge we can deliver to you as well. Usual pallet amounts will be 1-1/2 to 2 tons per pallet.
