Quarried in multiple areas in and around Connecticut.

Characteristics

A unique color palette of blues, greys, tans, browns, and cream tones.

Varying striations and veining are apparent on pieces.

Ledgestone: Natural parallel tops and bottoms paired with natural ends. Approximately 1″-4″ heights paired with lengths ranging from 6″-14″.

Square/Rec: Mixture of varying-size square and rectangle pieces. Approximately 6″x6″ and larger.

Ashlar: Varying size of natural rectangular pieces. Approximately 3″-8″ heights paired with lengths ranging from 4″-16″.

Mosiac/Random: Varying size irregular and random pieces. Approximately 6″x6″ and larger.
