Water Features
Spill-over fountains: These spill-way water features capture that natural waterfall look that you come across whilst out in the wilderness. Usually consisting of a 2-3 foot water drop and larger boulders to build up the height, these types of water features are dug out to desired depth and design, lined with a thick rubber, then a concrete shell is poured over the liner to form a leak-proof foundation. Forming in-ground features w/ponds this way allows you to set larger rocks safely without puncturing the liner, and also allows for ease of cleaning-just shovel it out!
Keeping it simple with an all-enclosed basin avoids leak points that can be caused by external pump and drainage systems. One or more pumps can be used for these and sit directly in the basin.
